Finding inspiration while on vacation

It's always good to get away.

Last year, my nieces decided to take my sister to Miami for her birthday and guess who got to tag along?

It was March, so the weather for the most part, was great!

Even the rain couldn't bring us down. But most of all, it cleared my mind and gave me inspiration to start writing again.

You see, between my full time job, my family, and writing, I was burnt out. My brain went on hiatus and even though I had a head full of ideas for stories, I couldn't put them down on paper. There was no follow through.

So instead, I focused on my surroundings and enjoying myself. Every morning I woke up and watched the Sun rise over the beach every morning.

Even though we were only there a few days, I felt refreshed. I recommend getting away to anyone who needs to clear their head. And if you can do a spot like Miami, all the better. #writerslife #vacation #miami
